STEP 6 - Download MT5's & Log In

Perform this step INSIDE of your VPS
In this step, you'll be downloading the MT5 for your challenge as well as the MT5 for your hedge account. You'll also log in to your accounts in the MT5's.
Install MT5 For Challenge
Open a web browser and head over to https://leaderboard.blueedgefinancial.com/
Click on the "Log In" button in the top-right corner.
Click "Continue".
Log in and gain access to the Leaderboard by inputting your Blue Edge Financial account login credentials (the same credentials you use to log in to your client area at www.blueedgefinancial.com)
On the top menu, click on "Downloads".
Inside of this folder you will see many different files. These are all the files to download MT5.
If you live outside of the USA and you are running your challenge directly on MT5, choose your prop firm's MT5 (ie you live outside of the USA and you are taking an E8 challenge - double-click the "E8 (International ONLY)" download).
If you live inside of the USA and you are running a challenge using MatchTrader, TradeLocker, etc., double-click on the "Alpari MT5" option.
Click on the blue "Download" button.
If you get a message like the one below, click on the blue "Download anyway" button.
Once you download it, you'll see in your recent downloads the file. Click on the file to begin the install.
Click on "Run".
Click "Next".
After the install completes, click on "Finish".
The MT5 terminal should automatically open!
If you downloaded anything except Alpari, click "Next >" at the bottom.
If you're using Alpari, you will need to search for the broker. Type in "Alpari" in the search bar and click on "Find your Company".
If you are using Alpari, select the first option "Open a demo to trade with virtual money without risk" since you will be copy trading from this demo account to your actual challenge. Click "Next >".
If you are NOT using Alpari (international) since you are trading your challenge directly on the prop firm's MT5, locate your MT5 challenge credentials sent to you via email from the prop firm. Input your account number in the "Login" field, password in the "Password" field, and select the correct server. Then click "Finish".
If you are using Alpari and you chose the first option, fill out the information to open your demo account. Be sure to select the following:
Account type: demo.ecn.mt5 (USD)
Deposit: Your challenge account amount (ie if 100k challenge, select 100,000)
Leverage: 1:33
Click "Next >". Then click "Finish". You don't need to save this information.
You should now see your MT5 open with a few charts open.
Install MT5 For Hedge Account
Head back to the downloads google drive. If you have any trouble getting back to the downloads google drive, remember you can head to https://leaderboard.blueedgefinancial.com/, log in, and click on "Downloads" in the top bar.
Click on the "MT5 Terminals" folder.
If you are using PlexyTrade, double-click on the PlexyTrade MT5.
If you are using Ox Securities, double-click on the OX Securities MT5.
If you are using a different broker, you can download any MT5 you want and connect to your broker in the MT5 (steps on this later).
Click on "Run".
Click "Next".
After the install completes, click on "Finish".
The MT5 terminal should automatically open!
You should see the name of your broker (PlexyTrade in this example). If you don't, search in the search bar for your broker name.
Click "Next>".
Select the bottom option. For this step, you need your account credentials for your MT5 at PlexyTrade or OX Securities.
The credentials needed are the login, password, and server.
How To Get MT5 Account Info
PlexyTrade
Visit PlexyTrade's Website and log in to your account.
On the main dashboard, you'll see your MT5 account. Your login (account number) is the number you see on your account boxed in the example below (3023012 in the example).
We can reset the password to be sure we have the right one. Click on the 3 dots and select "Change password".
Type in a password you'll remember and click "Change Password".
You now have your login and password. The server only has one option. Input your login and password you just created in the appropriate fields on the MT5 and click "Finish".
OX Securities
Visit OX Securities' Website and log in to your account.
On the main dashboard, scroll down to where it says "FX Accounts". You'll see your MT5 account. Your login (account number) is the number you see on your account boxed in the example below (630419 in the example).
For "Password Type", choose "Master Password". Then, type in a password you'll remember and click "Confirm".
You now have your login and password. Input your login and password you just created in the appropriate fields.
For the server, be sure to select "OxSecurities-Live".
Click "Finish".
You should now have two MT5's downloaded - one for your challenge and one or your hedge account. You are ready to move on to the next step where you will use the BEF Launcher to get Titan and the strategies installed.
