STEP 1 - Create A Broker Account

The first thing you need to do is decide which broker you want to use to hedge your challenges.

The two options that we know work well with the hedging strategy are PlexyTrade and OX Securities. To keep things simple:

Go with Plexytrade if you already have a crypto wallet/you're familiar with depositing and withdrawing crypto.

Go with OX Securities if you do NOT have a crypto wallet/you're unfamiliar with depositing and withdrawing crypto.

Once you have picked your broker, follow the steps below to create your account and submit your KYC information.

Select "Live".

Fill in your personal information. If you live in the USA, select "Other" for the country of residence. Create a password and click "Continue".

Continue to fill in your information on the next page. Click "Continue" when finished.

For the Trading Account Info, select:

Wallet Currency: USD
Platform: MT5
Account Currency: USD
Trading Account Type: Gold Raw
Leverage: 1:500

For the next part, you can read about the Bonus Terms and Conditions. Decide if you want to participate in it. We personally don't select that box.

Read the Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions and agree to those by checking the box.

Click on the green "Submit" button once ready.

Your next step is to submit your KYC information. This will verify that you are who you say you are and is required to be able to deposit money into PlexyTrade to trade with.

Click on the "Upload documents for account approval >"

Follow the instructions and upload the required KYC documents. You'll need to upload the following documents:

1. Proof of Legal Existence / Front

2. Proof of Legal Existence / Back

3. Proof of Address

Make sure that all of the pictures you upload are pictures of the physical documents AND visually show all 4 corners of the documents. If you upload a digital version of any documents, they will not accept it. For example, for the Proof of Address you can't go online and download a PDF of your most recent electric bill and upload that - you must submit a physical copy of the electric bill that you received in the mail (and show all 4 corners of the document in the picture!).

Once you have submitted the documents, as seen in the image example below, you should see that your account is pending approval and all three of the document names are green meaning you submitted all three of them.

Accounts are typically approved within 24-48 hours excluding weekends. Look out for an email from PlexyTrade if they need any additional information to get your account approved.

Click here to navigate directly to the OX Securities signup page.

Fill in your personal information. Create a password and click "Send Verification Email".

Navigate to your email and click on "Verify" in the email that was sent to you.

This will take you to a page that says "Verify success". Click on "Go login".

Sign in with the information you just used to create your account.

Type in the verification code that is sent to your email.

At the top of the page, you'll see it say "KYC Status". Click the blue "Complete Now" button.

• Read the terms and check the box.
• Type in your Full Name

• Currency: US Dollar (USD)
• Type: PRO
• Leverage: 1:500
  
  

Click on the "Submit" button and type in the two-factor authentication code sent to your email.

You should be returned to the dashboard where you'll see "KYC Status Reviewing Application".

Once your application has been reviewed and approved, this message will disappear and the yellow exclamation point will turn to a green checkmark.

It can take anywhere from just a couple of minutes to 48 hours excluding weekends to get approved. Look out for an email from OX Securities if they need any additional information to get your account approved.
