STEP 3 - Install and setup rTrader Pro

1. Go to the Rithmic website.
2. Locate the Download R Trader Pro option and click on it to start downloading.
   
   

1. Once the download is complete, open the installation file.
2. Follow the setup wizard to install R Trader Pro:
   • Click Next through the prompts.
   • Agree to any terms and conditions.
3. Once the installation is complete, launch the R Trader Pro application.
   

1. When R Trader Pro launches, you will see the login screen.
2. Enter the Topstep credentials you received in your email after purchasing your challenge account.
   • System: Select TopstepTrader.
   • Gateway: Choose Chicago Area for both the upper and lower sections.
   • User ID: Enter your Topstep-provided username.
   • Password: Enter your Topstep-provided password.
   • Make sure Allow Plugins is turned ON.
   • Click on Remember Me so you don't have to put in your credentials everytime you open up R Trader Pro.
     
     

1. The first time you log in, a pop-up will appear with two agreements.
2. Click on and review each agreement, then scroll down and click Accept for both.
   • Note: You only need to do this once. After accepting, you won’t see these agreements again.
     

1. Once the agreements are accepted, you’ll be logged into R Trader Pro.
2. You’re now ready to use R Trader Pro to connect with NinjaTrader.

Always log into R Trader Pro first before logging into NinjaTrader.

• If you log into NinjaTrader without first logging into R Trader Pro, the connection may not work correctly, even if NinjaTrader shows a green dot.
