If Titan has removed itself from your MetaTrader 5 (MT5) chart, it can be due to several reasons. This article covers the most common causes and what you can do to resolve the issue.
What Happens When TP is Reached?
- If your account reaches its Take Profit (TP) target, Titan will automatically remove itself from the chart.
Example:
- Let's say your account has a balance of $100,000, and Titan is set to close trades at $95,000 (TP).
- Once this TP is hit, Titan will execute the trades and then remove itself from the chart.
How to Confirm:
- Look in the Experts tab in MT5.
- If you see a message like “Account TP is reached. Closing all trades and turning auto trading off,” it means Titan hit the TP target and has removed itself.
- What Happens When EP is Reached?
- Titan may also remove itself when your account hits Equity Protection (EP), which is designed to prevent further losses.
- Example:
- Let's say EP is set at $101,000, but the account drops to $100,000 with negative $1,000 in margin.
- When the stop loss is reached, Titan will close trades and remove itself from the chart.
Checking for Bugs:
- Sometimes, Titan could be removed due to a bug in the system. To check for any known issues:
- Visit the Titan Discord server.
- Check the known bugs section to see if there are any unresolved issues.
