Alpari Demo Account Setup

Introduction

Here's a step-by-step guide on how to set up an Alpari demo account for copy trading or other purposes, such as working with Match Trader.

Step 1: Download the Installation File

• First, download the Alpari MT5 installation file onto your local desktop. You can download the file directly from the google drive by clicking here.
  


• Once downloaded, copy the file.
  
  

Step 2: Paste to VPS

• Head over to your VPS (Virtual Private Server), and paste the installation file onto the VPS desktop.
• This should only take a moment.
  
  

Step 3: Install Alpari MT5

• Double-click on the installation file to open it.
• During installation, you can go into the settings and name it something unique if you already have other Alpari terminals running on your VPS. For example, I named mine Alpari (3) because I already have two other Alpari terminals installed.
• If this is your first terminal, you can name it Alpari (1).
• Click Next and allow the installation to finish. Once it does, click Finish to open the terminal.
  
  

Step 4: Selecting Alpari Server

• When the terminal opens, you’ll see a list of Alpari servers. You don't want Alpari International; instead, search for and select Alpari MT5 (the first option).
• Click Next to proceed.
  
  

Step 5: Opening a Demo Account

• Click Next to open a demo account.
• You can enter random information here—it doesn’t need to be your real name, email, or phone number. For example, I use a fake email and a random phone number from Greenland.
• Choose Alpari Demo and set your base currency to USD.
• Set the account balance to $100,000 (or whatever amount you'd like), and set the leverage to 1:33 since that’s close to what most prop firms offer.
• Agree to the terms and click Next.
  
  

Step 6: Finishing the Setup

• After hitting Next, you’ll receive your login credentials (account number and password).
• You may need to validate the account in your client area.
• Click Finish, and the demo account is ready for use.
  
  

At this point, you can clean up the terminal and start using it as your demo account for testing, trading, or copy trading purposes.
