This guide will walk you through setting up the Trading Connectivity Copier to work with DxTrade, ensuring seamless trade copying even when the Heron copier experiences API issues.

Step 1: Download Required Files
  1. Click the provided link to download:
    • DxBridge.zip
    • MT5 to DxTrade Non-API EX5 File
  2. Once downloaded, locate these files on your computer.

Step 2: Extract and Configure DxBridge
  1. Extract the DxBridge.zip file.
  2. Open the extracted folder, where you'll find:
    • The configuration file
    • The DxBridge file
  3. Open the configuration file in a text editor.
  4. Enter your credentials in the following 
    • DxTrade username,password, DxTrade_website_link
  5. Save and close the configuration file.

Step 3: Run DxBridge
  1. Open the DxBridge application.
  2. Click Run to start the bridge.
  3. Ensure the correct trading account is selected:
    • If the wrong account is selected, close DxBridge, switch accounts, and restart DxBridge to resync.
    • Note: This copier supports only one account at a time.

Step 4: Load the Copier in MT5
  1. Open MT5 and select your Alpari demo account (or other active trading account).
  2. Load the MT5 to DxTrade Non-API EX5 File into MT5:
    • Click File → Open Data Folder.
    • Navigate to MQL5 → Experts folder.
    • Move the EX5 file into this folder.
    • Drag the file onto an open chart in MT5.
  3. Enter the required credentials:
    • Enter your license key (not displayed for security reasons).
    • Enter your DxTrade username (same as before).
  4. Leave all other settings at default and click OK.

Step 5: Perform a Test Trade
  1. Ensure the following are running:
    • DxBridge
    • MT5 terminal with the copier set up
    • DxTrade account open
  2. Place a test trade in MT5.
  3. Check if the trade is successfully copied to DxTrade.
  4. If the trade does not appear:
    • Verify the correct trading account is selected.
    • Close and reopen DxBridge to resync.
    • Retry the test trade.

Step 6: Confirm Copier is Working
  1. Once the trade appears in DxTrade, close it.
  2. If the trade closes successfully in both platforms, the copier is working correctly.

Step 7: Set Up Titan 

Now that the copier is functioning, you can proceed with setting up Titan.
