How to Purchase an FTMO Challenge

In this article, we'll walk through the process of purchasing an FTMO challenge, including selecting the appropriate options and completing your purchase. FTMO challenges are a great way to test and improve your trading skills on a simulated account. Follow these steps to ensure a smooth purchase and setup process.

1. Visit the FTMO Website

The first step is to go to ftmo.com. Once on the homepage:

1. Scroll down to find the FTMO Challenge section.
2. Click on it to begin your challenge selection.

2. Select Trading Account Options

Once you're in the FTMO Challenge section, you'll need to configure your account:

Trading Account Currency

• Choose USD as the trading account currency. This is essential, even if you are located in Europe, the UK, or another region. The FTMO challenges must be conducted in USD.
  
  

Account Balance

• Select the account balance you'd like for the challenge. The options typically include:
• 200K
• 100K (Most popular)
• 25K
  

Choose the balance that suits your trading goals.

Account Type

• Select FTMO and not FTMO Swing for the account type.
  
  

Trading Platform

• Choose MetaTrader 5 (MT5) as your trading platform. Avoid selecting MT4 or other platforms.
  
  

3. Enter Billing Information
