How to Install the Hedge Bot

Introduction

This guide provides step-by-step instructions for setting up the latest version of Titan Hedge (version 1.23) in your PropFarm account. This version introduces some new configurations that are essential for optimal performance.

Step 1: Access Your PropFarm Account

1. Log In:


• Navigate to your PropFarm account and log in with your credentials.
2. Add Titan and HedgeBot:
• Ensure both Titan X and the HedgeBot are placed in the MQL5 folder of your PropFarm account.

Step 2: Open Trading Charts

1. Load Titan:
• Refresh your account and load Titan as usual. You can disable Titan temporarily if needed.
2. Set Up HedgeBot on Prop Firm Account:
• Unlike previous versions, you now need to load the HedgeBot directly onto the Prop Firm account.
3. Open Multiple Charts:
• If you have one chart open, click on Window in the top menu and select Tile Windows.
• Use the minus button to close unnecessary charts and then open a new chart that matches the time frame of your Prop Firm Challenge account.
• Click Tile Windows again to arrange both charts side by side.

Step 3: Configure HedgeBot on Prop Firm Account

1. Load HedgeBot:
• Drag and drop the HedgeBot onto the new chart.
2. Enable Algo Trading:
• Check the Allow Algo Trading option.
3. Enter Email for Validation:
• Input the email associated with your Blue Edge Financial account for validation.
4. Set Operation Mode:
• Select Sender mode since this account will send trades to the Hedge account.
5. Configure Prefix/Suffix:
• Enter any suffix required for your currency (e.g., for gold, use XAUUSD+).
6. Dynamic Risk Management:
• Set this to True.
7. Dynamic Recovery Amount:
• Also set this to True. Define your recovery amount (e.g., $500).
8. Set Profit Target and Max Loss:
• Enter your Phase 1 profit target (e.g., $10,000) and maximum loss (e.g., $10,000 for a $100k account).
9. Sender ID:
• Input a random ID (e.g., 855) to link the Prop Firm terminal to the HedgeBot terminal.
10. Finalize Settings:
• Click OK to save your settings.

Step 4: Configure HedgeBot on Hedge Account

1. Open Hedge Account:
• Go to your Hedge account and add Titan Hedge to the Advisors tab.
2. Load HedgeBot:
• Drag and drop the HedgeBot onto the chart.
3. Enter Email Again:
• Input the same email used for validation.
4. Set Operation Mode:
• Select Receiver mode, as this account will receive trades from the PropFirm account.
5. Configure Suffix:
• Leave the suffix blank if none is required.
6. Set Additional Settings:
• Configure the dynamic risk management and recovery settings as needed (e.g., both set to True).
7. Set Profit Target and Max Loss:
• Adjust these according to your specific account needs (e.g., $8,000 for both in certain cases).
8. Sender ID:
• Input the same Sender ID (e.g., 855) to link the two accounts.
9. Finalize Settings:
• Click OK to save.

Step 5: Activate Algo Trading

• Once both HedgeBots are configured correctly, ensure that Algo Trading is turned on for both accounts to start trading effectively.
