In this guide, we'll show you how to verify that your account is hedging correctly using TitanX. Ensuring your hedge account is working as expected is crucial for proper risk management and trading. Follow these steps to check for common issues and validate your settings.
Step 1: Verify Connection Status
Check the Green Check Mark:
- Ensure that your connection status shows a green check mark. If it’s green, your account is connected and hedging is enabled.
If the Connection Status is Disconnected:
- Hedge on Real Account Setting:
- Go to your TitanX settings and check that Hedge on Real Account is set to True. If this setting is False, the connection will show as disconnected.
- Magic Number Mismatch:
- The Magic Number on both accounts must match. If there is a mismatch, TitanX will show the connection as disconnected.
- Verify that the Magic Number is the same for both the master and hedge accounts.

Verify Trade Timing and Direction:
- Open the Toolbox window in MetaTrader 5 (MT5). If it’s not visible, go to View > Toolbox.
- Check the trade history on your master account and hedge account to ensure trades are being entered and exited at the same time but in opposite directions.
