STEP 8 - Heron Copier Setup
(MatchTrader, TradeLocker, Non-MT5 Challenges ONLY)

Please note that if you are an international client taking an MT5 challenge (not MatchTrader, TradeLocker, etc), you do NOT need to do this step and can move on to Step 9.
Perform this step INSIDE of your VPS
In this step, you'll be setting up the trade copier Heron Copier to copy trades from your Alpari MT5 account over to your challenge on MatchTrader, TradeLocker, or any other platform the Heron Copier supports.
Heron Copier Master Setup
Navigate to your Alpari MT5 where you set up Titan.
In the top menu, click on "Tools" and then "Options".
Click on the "Expert Advisors" tab.
Make sure the 3 boxes are checked as seen in the image below.
Add the URL as seen below. Be sure to copy and paste the URL so it's exactly the same as the image:

Click "OK" once finished.
Install the following two files by clicking on them (once again, make sure you are doing this inside of your VPS):
For both files, you'll perform the same steps:
1. Click on the link to download.
2. Click the file to install it.
3. Click "Run".
4. Check the Terms box and click "Install".
5. Click "Done".
Make sure you have installed BOTH files.
Next, open a web browser (make sure you are still performing these steps INSIDE of your VPS) and visit https://heroncopier.com/download.
This will start the download of the Heron Copier.
Double-click on the downloaded file to open the zip file.
Double-click on the folder to open its contents.
Double-click on "Heron Copier Connector".
Click "Run". If your pop-up is blue, you'll have to click "More Info" and then "Run Anyway".
Once the installation is complete, you'll see a window appear like the one below.
Click on "Installer" in the menu on the left.
Click "Install".
You should see a pop-up saying the installation was successful.
Navigate to your Alpari MT5.
In the Navigator menu on the left side, right click on "Expert Advisors", click "Refresh", and click on the "+" sign next to Heron Copier to expand the options.
Open a new chart by clicking on "View" in the top menu bar, "Market Watch", choose any pair (XAUUSD in the example GIF below) and right-click it, "Chart Window", and click on the 4 quadrant box symbol to sort the charts side-by-side.
Click and drag "Heron Copier Master" onto the new chart your just opened (NOT the chart with Titan on it).
Click on the "Common" tab.
Check "Allow Algo Trading".
Click on the "Inputs" tab on the top (next to Common).
On this tab, reference the example image below to perform the following steps:
1. Change the number after "Heron Copier Master #" to match the Alpari account number (found in the upper-left corner of the MT5).
2. Change the last 4 digits of the "Server address" to match the last 4 digits of the Alpari account number.
3. Locate the email from Heron Copier when you purchased the copier and find the License Key. Copy and paste the license key in the "License key" field.
Click "OK" once finished.
You should see the Heron Copier Master load onto the chart.
Heron Copier Slave Setup
Head back to the Heron Copier Folder.
Double-click on the folder that matches the type of challenge you purchased. For example, if you purchased an E8 MatchTrader challenge, double-click on the "MatchTrader" folder.
Double-click on the "Slave" file.
Click "Run" both times it pops up.
On the Slave Copier, put the same "Identifier" and "Server Address" as you put on the Master Copier.
Log in to the dashboard of your prop firm and find the credentials of your challenge. For example, on E8's dashboard you click on the key icon to pull up the account's credentials.
Enter the Server, E-mail, Password, and Account Number of your challenge. The image below is an example of E8 and MatchTrader.
The next field "Add Symbol Suffix" applies to prop firms that have a challenge with a suffix on the pairs. For example, E8's pairs on MatchTrader have the suffix ".c" after each pair. So XAUUSD is actually XAUUSD.c. This is important to note when using the copier because if the pair has a suffix and you leave these fields blank, the trades will not copy over to the challenge.
If you have any questions about the challenge you are taking and whether or not the pairs have a symbol suffix to include, reach out to the prop firm and ask.
With E8, you must put ".c" in the field "Add Symbol Suffix".
Finally, at the very top where it says in red "Coper is not running...", click on the "II" symbol so that it changes to a green play button that says "Copier is connected".
